My name is Paul Haavig and I live in Sitka Alaska. My folks have been retired in Mesa Arizona for 20 years so I have become familiar with the area from visiting them through the years. I decided about a year ago to start looking at different options to begin my search for a home purchase.
I came across Rod’s web site and was impressed with all its information. After navigating through all its information I was planning a trip to Mesa and got in touch with Rod, this was a very wise move on my part. I had picked 10 or so homes to look at and Rod set all those viewings up and Rod met me at the first home which was my first time to meet him. Rod was right on time and was very professional. He was not pressuring and answered all the questions I had.
After looking at several homes I told Rod that I was going to take my time during this search process and asked him for his patience with me. I also told him that I was not going to shop around for other agents and if he took care of me I’d take care of him. He went well beyond taking care of me and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a home to contact Rod. He responded to every request I made, offered his professional advice when appropriate and followed through with all the details that needed attention. He helped with rides and even picked my folks up at their house so they could see one of the many homes we looked at.
Rod definitely went beyond the call of duty. As the process continued it became clear to me that not only was Rod very good at his profession he was a very nice guy. I really enjoyed being around him and now consider Rod a friend.
