I want to insure that you have an outstanding buying or selling experience. 

Why should you use me as your Buyer Representative?  Two primary reasons: protection, and efficiency.  Most likely, the seller of the property you buy will be represented by a listing agent who will provide expertise to the seller throughout the transaction.  The listing agent’s loyalty  is to the seller, not the buyer.  Don’t you want the same kind of dedicated service?  According to NAR research, buyers who work with a buyer’s representative also find their homes quicker, while viewing more properties in their search, than buyers who do not engage a buyer’s representative.

As your representative, I can help you:

  • Identify your needs
  • Suggest sources of financing and other service professionals such as inspectors
  • Provide sources of accurate information on neighborhoods, schools, and communities
  • Select and arrange property showings
  • Evaluate properties
  • Insure that you understand the various transaction forms and agreements
  • Suggest contract contingencies to protect you, rather than the seller
  • Assist in the negotiations for a favorable price and terms
  • Keep all information confidential that could weaken your bargaining position (note that facts material to the property must be disclosed to all parties)
  • Monitor the entire purchase process, assisting with issues that arise through closing

I pledge to fully abide by the REALTOR’S® Code of Ethics, and put in writing my duties and employment responsibilities to you, including how I will be compensated (typically by the seller’s listing agent – I know, that sounds contradictory, but believe me, you will have a written guarantee that my duty is to you, not the seller).

Professional & Personal Background

I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Phoenix Association of REALTORS®, and the Arizona Regional MLS®.  As of September 2007, I'm a candidate for ABR® certification (Accredited Buyer Representative) and member of REBAC (Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council).

An Arizona resident for over 20 years, I currently reside in Tempe, with previous homes in Ahwatukee, Chandler and Prescott.   I am an active real estate investor, with personal investments in several rental properties.   Much of my professional career has been involved in senior management at very successful companies, which along with my Masters in Business Administration, provided me with the skills to:

§         Market and promote your home if selling

§         Research available homes meeting your criteria if buying
